How long does permanent eyebrow makeup last?
Permanent eyebrow makeup, performed for the first time with one repeated treatment (called a touch-up or perfecting session), lasts 1 to 3 years in good condition.
How much does Permanent Makeup Cost?
Permanent makeup typically costs between $300 to $1200 per procedure, depending on the type of makeup, the body part, and the number of visits/touchups that are required.
What is the difference between Microblading and Permanent Makeup?
The method of application is the main distinction between microblading and permanent makeup. With microblading, a handheld tool with a tiny grouping of surgical steel needles is used to draw fine hair-like strokes (think paper cut) in the eyebrow area that looks like natural eyebrow hairs. With permanent makeup, a pen-like machine vibrates to put the pigment into the skin (tiny dots), softly shading the eyebrow area. Microblading typically lasts 1-2 years, while Permanent makeup lasts 2-3 years.
How Does Permanent Makeup Work?
Although a pigment is only applied to the top layer of skin, the treatment may still sting, just like getting a tattoo, but with excellent numbing agents. A tiny surgical steel needle is used to input color into the skin’s upper layer, resulting in a beautiful, natural look. Our practitioner uses a potent numbing cream for comfort.
Is Permanent Makeup Safe?
Permanent makeup is typically considered risk-free but is subject to some of the same dangers as other tattoos. Protecting our client’s health and safety is paramount at Zapps Electrology and Beauty. We follow and exceed all safety standards and regulations.
